eir Business Solutions today announced Pizza Dog as the final winner of its Digital Boost initiative. Pizza Dog is a fast food restaurant specialising in pizzas and hot dogs, with outlets in Drumcondra and Swords. The restaurant plans to develop an app for ordering online which will help to bolster its digital strategy and overall customer offering.
eir’s Digital Boost initiative enables organisations to ‘boost’ their digital presence with a package worth €10,000 which includes a free business app, a free unlimited eMobile plan for 18 months, a Sony tablet and smartphone as well as mobile marketing and mobile strategy consultations with the Digital Boost expert panel.
Commenting on the win, Gary Disley, Marketing Director, eir Business Solutions, said: “It’s great to announce Pizza Dog as the final winner of this year’s Digital Boost initiative. With the increasing popularity of ordering online it is imperative in this industry to have a strong digital presence or risk losing out to competitors. The growth of online brands like justeat.ie and feedme.ie highlight the need for food brands to develop their digital and mobile strategy to offer convenience and grow online ordering. We are looking forward to working with Pizza Dog to take its digital presence to the next level.”
Sandeep Sood, owner of Pizza Dog, said: “This is a great achievement for us and we are very happy to have won the final Digital Boost. We know that this can make a big difference to our business and we are looking forward to working with the eir Digital Boost team to improve our company’s online presence. Our digital strategy is constantly evolving, we are constantly trialling, tweaking and improving. Our future plans include opening more branches all over Dublin and Digital Boost will definitely help us in achieving our goals. We’re looking forward to working with the team to create an app that will make online ordering easy for our customers.”
