Pogo Payments

  • How soon can I start accepting card payments?

    You can start to take card payments as soon as your application is approved and you receive your card reader via courier. You will then be able to start accepting card payments after just a few simple set up steps.

  • What information should I have on hand to complete the application?

    If you plan on using your AIB bank account, you’ll need to provide a Bank Statement that shows the full legal name of your company (not older than 3 months).

    For all others (i.e. a non AIB bank account) you’ll need to provide:
    1. Bank Statement that shows the full legal name of your company and the BIC and IBAN (not older than 3 months).
    2. A Verified* Utility bill (not older than 6 months)
    3. A Vaild, Verified* ID i.e. electronic passport, driving licence, or national identity card.

    * Your local Garda / Police Station will stamp your documents.

  • What if I don't have a bank account?

    Unfortunately you cannot apply for Pogo>.

  • What information should I have on hand to complete the application?

    You will only need a few pieces of information on hand to complete the application:

    • Banking information; account number and sort code to determine where your transactions will be deposited and funded.
    • Partners with over 25% shares in the company will need to complete facts required on Principal Details section
    • Limited companies will be required to provide their registered company number as well as full names for all share holders.
  • How do I know if I am eligible for Pogo>? Can anyone sign up?

    Pogo> is designed for Merchants taking face to face payments and who expect to take less than Euros 20,000 in card sales each year. The information you provide in your Pogo> application will allow AIBMS to perform a credit check and set up your account if your application is approved.
